Unable to decrypt

The following reasons may be why messages cannot be decrypted, which most often happens to those who activate their user on a mobilephone:

  • This can happen if messages were sent to you before you were invited.
  • That you have been logged in on multiple devices and not been given a shared encryption key between the devices.
  • That you have not been logged in via PC and had an encryption key store created.

When messages cannot be decrypted in mobile app, you should be able to log in with a browser so that encryption key storage is created there.

This is because phones often block this feature.  We are working on avoiding this in future solutions.

You need to be completely logged out of the mobile app for the encryption key updates to be updated automatically The mobile app will then retrieve these automatically when the mobile app restarts.
